When Mike joined Lawlor Jewelry he quickly found a passion for jewelry design and never looked back, becoming our main CAD designer, the creator of our own personal brand Lawlor Love and the leader of our team. He has built the store into more than just a jewelry store but also a full custom design shop and a birthplace for creativity in Alberta. Mike's vision for the store has always been to be a full service jewelry shop that offers the most professional and personal service, while never sacrificing the hardworking and ultimate customer service that his father and grandfather brought before him. His continuation on of 3 generations of Lawlor's in the industry, along with his passion for technology and innovation allows us to be the small shop with the big dreams aiming towards being Tomorrows Jeweler. Whenever Mike finds moments away from the shop he is either chasing around his 3 crazy boys, running marathons, talking entrepreneurship with his peers or riding his motorcycle.
Dani has been a part of the Lawlor team since she was 15! She originally started as an after school student and has now been with us on and off for nearly two decades, making her one of the most knowledgeable members of the team and an honorary Lawlor family member. Her skills truly transition across every aspect of the store & industry. When she's not brightening our days at the shop with her positive energy, she can be found spending time with her family and chasing after her three busy boys.
When it comes to anything organizational, Jo has a knack for it. Whether it's merchandising, keeping orders on track, inspecting service work or bringing in some of your favorite products, you can be sure that she's on top of it! When she's not keeping us on our toes and setting a high standard, you can likely find her volunteering her time with the Linda Hall ladies or spending time with her family.
Sharon co-founded Lawlor Jewelry with her husband Gord In 1994 and has continued to be the central nervous system for the business ever since. She handles all of the behind the scene duties and keeps us operating like a well oiled machine. When she's not in the office she can be found at the golf course, hiking or chasing around her 3 wild grand kids.
Gord co-founded Lawlor Jewelry with his wife Sharon in 1994. He originally followed in his father Patrick's footsteps and started in the industry at the young age of 14. At 18 he began on the road as a representative for a Canadian jewelry manufacturer and gained over 2 decades of industry experience prior to opening Lawlor Jewelry. His wealth of knowledge of the industry mixed with his newly found passion for goldsmith work at the bench, make him an invaluable part of our shop. He is also a town councilor for our lovely community, and sits on the board of many non-profit organizations, striving to make Stettler the best place for everyone.
