Heirlooms Reimagined
There is nothing more special than a family heirloom and jewelry's lasting beauty and durability naturally make it the perfect thing to pass down. A diamond is forever after all. But what about when you have too many pieces to realistically wear? What if you want so badly to wear that reminder of your loved ones, but either the style is just not "you" or they are not in good enough condition to wear without worry of damage or loss? We can help!
We love helping to give your heirlooms a second chance to shine! A chance to come out of the jewelry box and be worn the way they were intended, and a chance for you to have that reminder of loved ones with you always.
A customer came to see us recently with some beautiful heirloom rings that she wanted to transform into something she would be proud to wear every day, and that would show the importance and love of her family heritage. She chose a Celtic trinity knot with an infinity circle woven in to symbolize her family heritage and the eternal relationships we share with those we love.
We take such inspiration from family connections like these that we were excited to set to work right away! We were able to come up with a design that incorporated all the stones from the three rings into a beautiful two toned pendant.
Once we had our design finalized we couldn't wait to show our client. My favorite part of my job is seeing the smile that comes onto someone's face when we get a design just right, and we got a big smile that day. So off to production it went, and when it came back.....all I can say is WOW! It turned out beautifully!
The very best part of all this is that now these priceless gifts from loved ones no longer here with us can be enjoyed every day and someday passed on to the next generation. Jewelry is so much more than just a pretty thing to wear. To those we love, it becomes a piece of us that they can hold on to. It's a memory we can see with our eyes instead of the ones we can only feel with our hearts. That is why we absolutely love what we do and why these are our favorite kinds of pieces to create. Thank you to everyone who has chosen to make us a little part of your family history. #secondchancetoshine
