Tell us your proposal story

Connor and I were in Lake Louise for his company Christmas Party! We went on this beautiful walk around the lake and at the end of the trail, he popped the question! It was seriously so beautiful!

How we met

We were at the Buck Lake rodeo, a very romantic setting...NOT! Connor had strategically placed himself right beside my horse trailer and started chatting with my Dad, and then after my run, he started chatting with me! My Dad was a big fan and told me I should really consider dating this guy! What a good wingman! So I listened and we started talking and met up at a few more rodeos and four years later here we are!

Did you know you would end up together or was it a happy surprise?

I knew we were going to end up together! Connor and I were really made for each other and there’s no one else I’d rather spend my life with! I was so happy when he proposed, but I did sense it coming! He is usually so cool, calm and collected and that day he was acting just a bit different! It was so sweet!

Favorite part of your relationship?

We love to do all the same things, it makes everything so fun! We love to golf together! We also both rodeo so you can usually find us traveling together or riding horses together. It is so fun having the same interests!

What do you look forward to for the rest of your life together?

I’m so excited for life with Connor! We are looking at houses and getting ready to move in together after our wedding in August! I am excited just to see him every day! We did long distance for a while and still are a bit away from each other! So seeing him every day is going to be the best for me!

Why did he or you choose the ring you did?

Oh man did he ever kill it on the ring! I loved the style of the double halo and he and Mike customized it just for me! I love the thought they put into designing it! It is so perfect, I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect and beautiful ring! He totally surprised me, he knew the general style I liked, but I’m still in awe of how amazing it is!
