The proposal story

We sledded up to the Olive Hut on top of Catamount Glacier for a two-night stay (if you research the hut you might think we are insane lol). Once we got up to the hut, Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to be his adventure partner for life! We then popped a bottle of champagne and cooked up a pot of dehydrated pasta. It was the perfect evening!

How we met
 
I was at Lake Louise waiting in line for the chair when I heard my name get called. I turned around and a guy I had seen before while working as a waitress at Earls was calling my name. We then ran into each other at the chalet during lunchtime, he and his friends joined us for lunch and some drinks. We then went for a couple of snowboards laps together and we have been together ever since.


Did you know you would end up together or was it a happy surprise?
 
We both think so. <3

Favorite part of your relationship?
 
Our thirst for adventure and our love of food.

What do you look forward to for the rest of your life together?
 
Retiring in a small mountain town with as many dogs as we can fit!

Why did he or you choose the ring you did?
 
He chose it because he knew I loved it from the first time I saw it and didn't stop sending him pictures and hints of it for 4 years.

How did you hear about Lawlor Jewelry?
 
A couple of my girlfriend's rings came from Lawlor Jewelry and they are exquisite. Also, I worked with Mike back in the day at West 49 and thought it would be cool to support his family business!
